Lindsay public schools placed under hold and secure, school board says – Peterborough

Numerous colleges in Lindsay, Ont. are below a maintain and safe on Friday afternoon.

Round midday, the Trillium Lakelands District Faculty Board said the next colleges are below maintain and safe on account of an unnamed incident being investigated by police:

• Lindsay Collegiate Vocational Institute
• Leslie Frost Public Faculty
• Central Senior Faculty
• Queen Victoria Public Faculty
• Parkview Public Faculty
• Alexandra Public Faculty

“In a maintain and safe, exterior doorways are locked and classroom routines and classes proceed,” the college board said. “College students is not going to be permitted outdoors whereas a maintain and safe is in place. Police are on the scene.”
