Ukraine president says he expects progress on EU membership bid within months

LVIV, Ukraine (Reuters) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated he spoke with the top of the European Fee Ursula von der Leyen on Friday and Ukraine expects progress to be made on its software to affix the European Union within the coming months.

“Had substantial dialog with EC President,” Zelenskiy stated on Twitter. “EC opinion on UA (Ukraine) software for #EU membership will likely be ready inside few months. UA Authorities and EC are instructed. Shifting to our strategic objective collectively.”
