Fire breaks out at Borden-Carleton, P.E.I. farm

BORDEN-CARLETON, P.E.I. — Firefighters from three Island departments responded to a hearth Wednesday, Jan. 4, at a farm close to Borden-Carleton.
Emergency crews attended the blaze that had damaged out within the night at a Murray Highway farm.
A crew member on web site confirmed to SaltWire Community that the fireplace was at D&E Pork Inc., recognized by neighbours as Dale Murray’s farm.
Firefighters from Borden-Carleton, Crapaud and Kinkora attended the scene.
Whereas firefighters handled the blaze, a crew had the highest of Murray Highway blocked off, permitting entry solely to emergency personnel.
