A collection of work by Toronto-based artist Sheida Shekarian (who chances are you’ll acknowledge as our Tomorrow’s Talent Vol II cowl artist). With a ardour for expressing the human expertise by humor and narrative-based visuals, Shekarian loves any type of creativity that evokes a sense of nostalgia. Born and raised in Iran, she explains that “the unwavering humour of the Iranian folks as a type of coping mechanism throughout hardships has influenced a lot of my character and inventive work as an illustrator.” She has labored as a marketing campaign photoshoot producer, graphic designer, and illustrator, and although she has a deep admiration for all artistic fields, she at all times finds herself drawn again to the world of illustration.
