Russia needs over a week to take Mariupol, IFX quotes separatist leader

(Reuters) – A Russian-backed separatist chief in japanese Ukraine stated on Monday it will take greater than every week to take management of the besieged Ukrainian port metropolis of Mariupol, the Russian information company Interfax reported.

“I’m not so optimistic that two or three days or perhaps a week will shut the difficulty. Sadly, no, town is massive,” Denis Pushilin, head of the so-called Donetsk Folks’s Republic, stated, in keeping with the report.
