RCMP arrest Nova Scotia man with multiple warrants thanks to public tip

SHERBROOKE, P.E.I. — A 52-year-old Nova Scotia man was arrested after RCMP obtained a tip of a suspicious individual in Sherbrooke on Feb. 13.
Police obtained a grievance of a suspicious one that gave the impression to be making an attempt to realize entry to a cottage round 5:30 p.m.
Mounties situated the individual within the space.
Following an investigation, the person was arrested.
Officers realized that the person had warrants for his arrest associated to offences in Nova Scotia, Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador.
The person was scheduled to look in courtroom on Feb. 14 to face property offences-related and breach expenses.
“We respect the short considering of the one who referred to as within the suspicious individual report and encourage others to contact police after they see suspicious exercise,” stated P.E.I. RCMP media relations officer Const. Gavin Moore.
“It is due to witnesses calling the police that arrests like this are attainable.”
