One man in hospital, another person in police custody after RisePEI stabbing – RisePEI

One man is in hospital and one other individual is in police custody following an early morning stabbing in RisePEI.

Police had been referred to as to a house on Flamingo Dr. simply after 1 a.m.

Once they arrived, they discovered a 63-year-old man with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening accidents.

Officers arrested one suspect on the scene.

Police say the stabbing shouldn’t be believed to be a random incident and investigators usually are not on the lookout for extra suspects right now.
