October trial set for P.E.I. man charged with negligence causing death

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 29-year-old Clermont man accused of drug trafficking and negligence inflicting demise is scheduled for trial this fall.
Evan Shea Anchikoski, who had beforehand pleaded not responsible, appeared remotely in provincial courtroom in Summerside on Might 24. He had his trial date scheduled for 12 intermittent days in October, beginning on October 2.
The fees stem from a suspicious demise that occurred in Burlington on March 29, 2022. Upon arriving on scene, police discovered a 27-year-old man lifeless on the residence.
The Prince District JFO Drug Unit started an investigation shortly after. Anchikoski was arrested that October.
When police executed a search warrant, they found greater than 900 hydromorphone tablets, cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Anchikoski has remained in custody since his arrest. He’s dealing with three counts of drug trafficking, one rely of possession of a prohibited substance for the aim of trafficking, one rely of assault and one rely of prison negligence inflicting demise.
