Gas price increases in P.E.I. on May 26, 2023

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — It’s costlier to refill on the pumps after the worth of fuel went up in a single day.
Within the Island Regulatory and Appeals Fee’s (IRAC) newest adjustment, which went into impact at 12:01 a.m. on Could 26, the fee stated the worth of fuel elevated by 5.0 cents per litre (cpl).
With the change, the worth of standard self-serve gasoline ranges from 165.6 to 166.8 cpl.
There have been no adjustments to the costs of furnace oil or diesel.
The utmost value of furnace oil is 100.5 cpl whereas diesel ranges from 159.5 to 160.7 cpl.
IRAC’s subsequent scheduled pricing adjustment is June 2.
