Farewell to 2022: Charlottetown welcomes 2023 by swapping out big red numbers

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown is on the point of say goodbye to 2022 with the altering of the massive crimson numbers on town’s waterfront.

Staff made the change from 2022 to 2023 Thursday morning.

This 12 months, town is partnering with Founders’ Meals Corridor & Market to host a waterfront New 12 months’s Eve celebration.

The occasion is open to all and runs from 11 a.m. till 8 p.m. at Founders’ Meals Corridor & Market. It’ll function Swift Kick, a Taylor Swift tribute band, complimentary scorching chocolate and giveaways, craft actions, face portray, a photograph sales space, character appearances and a fireworks show at 7 p.m.
