Drugs, weapons seized in New Annan, P.E.I. traffic stop

A Summerside man is in custody after police seized greater than half a pound of suspected methamphetamine throughout a focused site visitors cease in New Annan.

In a March 17 launch, RCMP stated officers with the Prince District Joint Forces Operation Drug Unit stopped a automobile as a part of an ongoing investigation on Route 2 in New Annan on March 15.

Police stated the 44-year-old man was later launched.

The 34-year-old man was saved in custody and is scheduled to look in Summerside provincial court docket on March 23.
