B.C. police watchdog investigates circumstances of Vernon death – Okanagan

B.C.’s police watchdog has been known as in to look into the circumstances of a demise that occurred shortly after a person was transported by RCMP to the hospital.

The Unbiased Investigations Workplace mentioned in a press release launched Monday, that at round 7:25 a.m. on April 25, the Mounties have been known as to take a person to the hospital, and that the journey occurred “with out incident.”

The discharge from the investigations workplace doesn’t point out why the person was in want of a hospital within the first place.

Shortly after arriving on the hospital, the person went into medical misery and died.

“The IIO was notified of the demise shortly after it occurred and has commenced an investigation to find out what position, if any, police actions or inactions could have performed within the demise,” reads the assertion from the investigations workplace.
