27-year-old pedestrian dies after being struck by ATV on Church Street in Tignish – Canada Police Report

Tignish, Prince Edward Island – A 27-year-old man from Tignish, PEI, has died after being struck by an all-terrain car locally.

On March 5, 2022, at roughly 11:20 p.m., members of the Prince District RCMP, Island EMS, Tignish Hearth Division, and the Division of Transportation and Infrastructure responded to a report of an injured pedestrian on the 200 block of Church Avenue in Tignish.

The reason for the collision stays underneath investigation. The 27-year-old man died on the scene because of his accidents, and the driving force of the ATV was not injured.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist and a member of the PEI Coroner’s workplace attended the scene and are helping with the continuing investigation. An post-mortem will likely be scheduled to find out the person’s actual explanation for dying. The investigation is ongoing.
