Zaporizhzhia nuclear station operating normally – Interfax quotes Russia-installed official
(Reuters) – The Zaporizhzhia nuclear energy station, hit by shelling over the weekend, is working “in regular mode,” the Interfax information company quoted the Russian-installed head of the native administration as saying on Monday.
“We have now data from the navy and representatives of Russia’s Rosatom, who’re right here, simply watching the state of affairs. We have now data from them that every part is working in regular mode,” mentioned Yevgeniy Balitsky, head of the Russian-installed administration of the Zaporizhzhia area.
Balitsky mentioned the ability, Europe’s largest nuclear energy station, was beneath the management of Russian authorities.
Kyiv and Moscow have blamed one another for shelling the station over the weekend.
