Yes b’y, Lincoln’s ‘Havin’ a Time’ will celebrate all things Newfoundland
The Atlantic spirit will quickly be taking on Lincoln.
As a part of celebrations for the upcoming Niagara 2022 Canada Summer time Video games, the City of Lincoln in partnership with the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador might be internet hosting Havin’ a Time. It’s the first event of the 13 for 13 Cultural Festival happening in conjunction with the Games.
Havin’ a Time takes place on Sunday, Aug. 7 at Charles Daley Park in Jordan. It kicks off at midday and runs all through all the day.
Guests can wander via the Maple Market artisan market, which is open from midday to 9 p.m. or benefit from the Niagara Benchland’s interpretation of an east coast kitchen get together. From midday to five p.m., guests can benefit from the tastes of Niagara and Newfoundland, whereas taking in some east coast music.
Talking of music, there’s a full solid of performers starting at 12:30 p.m. Attercliffe and the Pillowtalkers take the stage at 2 p.m. They’ll be adopted by Jack Van Ginger at 4:30 p.m., and Newfoundland’s personal LadyLike at 6:30 p.m. and Shanneyganock at 8 p.m.
There can even be a household enjoyable zone open from midday to five p.m., and for these courageous sufficient, there might be a Kiss the Cod selfie zone open from midday to 10 p.m.
Havin’ a Time received’t be the one 13 for 13 celebration in West Niagara. The next day, West Lincoln will host an occasion celebrating Saskatchewan, from 5 to 10 p.m. on the West Lincoln Neighborhood Centre. The competition then wraps up on Aug. 20 with Grimsby’s nod to Prince Edward Island. It runs from 4 to 10 p.m. on the Peach King Centre.
