Woman arrested, meth seized after P.E.I. RCMP respond to suspicious vehicle complaint in Hunter River

HUNTER RIVER, P.E.I. — A 32-year-old girl is dealing with impaired driving and drug-related fees after a public tip in Hunter River on Thursday, June 29.
Queens District RCMP officers responded to a criticism of a suspicious car in Hunter River Thursday. A short while later, Mounties discovered the suspect car and a lady who was believed to be impaired by medication and in possession of methamphetamine.
Officers seized eight grams of crystal methamphetamine, 38 methamphetamine tablets and different drug trafficking paraphernalia.
The lady was arrested and can seem in courtroom later to face fees of impaired driving and drug trafficking offences.
