Lucky couple takes home $2.4M Chase the Ace jackpot
Two Islanders pulled the successful card value greater than $2.4 million within the newest draw of the North River Chase the Ace fundraiser.
Annete Diewold and her husband, Russell McKenna, drew the ace of spades with solely seven playing cards remaining within the deck getting into Saturday’s draw. The couple will stroll away with $2,411,370.
The win caps weeks of escalating pleasure as extra playing cards had been eliminated and the jackpot continued to develop. The primary draw of this version of Chase the Ace was final February.
The fundraiser is organized by the North Star Area, the North Rustico Hearth Division, and the North Rustico, Hunter River, Cymbria and Winsloe Lions Golf equipment. Organizers say every one of many organizations will obtain about $620,000.
