“On Trial” by Photographer Cristian Ordóñez

A collection of photos from “On Trial,” the latest challenge by Chilean photographer Cristian Ordóñez (beforehand featured right here). Although at the moment based mostly in Toronto, Ordóñez briefly lived within the U.S., and has spent a big period of time over the course of the final decade revisiting the decrease states, making work that explores notions of reminiscence, private relationships, and encounters with the land.

“On Trial” is the fruits of those explorations. The fourth installment in a collection of beforehand printed works — Notes 01, 02, and 03 — this new chapter is an extension of Ordóñez’s curiosity within the photographic course of as a medium to discover the territory, cultural range, and connection between place and ethnicity.
