Ireland calls for partnership not threats from UK on Brexit protocol

DUBLIN (Reuters) – The European Union wants partnership from Britain somewhat than threats of unliateral motion if the 2 sides are to succeed in a compromise on post-Brexit commerce guidelines for Northern Eire within the coming weeks, Eire’s Overseas Minister stated.

“We do not want threats of unilateral motion, unilateral laws in Westminster. What we’d like is partnership and intense negotiation,” Simon Coveney advised RTE radio.

British Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab earlier on Sunday declined to say if unilateral motion can be introduced by the British authorities on the problem subsequent week.
