VIDEO: Charlottetown council supports emergency homeless shelter permit
CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown council has voted unanimously to rescind their resolution to defer the province’s allow request for a homeless emergency shelter this winter.
At a particular assembly held Oct. 13, council voted 10-0 to rescind their earlier resolution to defer the allow, and in addition voted 10-0 to approve the province’s allow request.
