Vernon Search and Rescue comes to aid of mountain biker – Okanagan
Venturing into the nice open air? Have a plan, simply in case.
That’s the recommendation from Vernon Search and Rescue, which was referred to as out on Monday evening to help a mountain biker within the Cosens Bay space.
Search and Rescue mentioned the mountain biker was being assisted by a buddy and arrived on the search staging space after everybody had assembled.
Additionally collaborating in Monday evening’s incident had been police and B.C. Ambulance.
“We wish to remind everybody to make sure that they’ve left a plan with a trusted individual, have a dependable technique of communication and applicable security gear,” mentioned Vernon Search and Rescue.
