UPEI to refresh board of governors following Robin Thomlinson report



CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The College of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) board of governors is making adjustments to enhance its operations and decision-making.  

These adjustments are available response to suggestions from the Rubin Thomlinson report. 

Lately, Pat Sinnott resigned as a member and chair of the board, and Andrew Bartlett may even step down.  

In consequence, there at the moment are seven empty spots on the 26-member Board of Governors.  

The manager committee, working with the college, will fill these positions as quickly as doable.  

They’ll prioritize discovering various and educated people. 

As well as, the UPEI board of governors will assessment its governance practices to verify they’re efficient and clear.  

The assessment will deal with essential values like tutorial freedom and rigour, accountability and integrity, excellence, inclusion, fairness, and reconciliation.
