Two people arrested in disappearance case in P.E.I.

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown police have arrested and charged two folks of curiosity within the disappearance of Summer time Kneebone.

The 2 folks arrested – Donald Roy Holmes, 44, of Pembroke, P.E.I., and Samantha Jemima Parlee-Bell, 32, of Pembroke, P.E.I. – are P.E.I. residents however had been arrested in New Glasgow, N.S., below Part 182(b) of the Legal Code of Canada.

“Everybody who neglects, with out lawful excuse, improperly or indecently interferes with or gives any indignity to a useless human physique or human stays, whether or not buried or not, is responsible of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a time period not exceeding 5 years,’’ cites the part.

At this level, police haven’t decided the situation of Kneebone and the investigation continues to be ongoing.

“Our ideas are with Summer time’s household and mates at this investigation continues to develop,’’ police stated in a press release issued on Sept. 14. “We’re asking anybody who has had contact with the (accused) since Aug. 5, 2023 to please contact the Charlottetown Police Companies.’’
