Three people vying for chief of Lennox Island First Nation

LENNOX ISLAND, P.E.I. — Three persons are vying for the place of chief in Lennox Island First Nation’s band elections on Saturday, June 11.

Darlene Bernard, the present Lennox Island chief since 2019, has put her identify ahead, trying to serve her second time period in a row.

Bernard had beforehand served as chief from 2001 to 2013.

Along with Bernard, Darcy Sark and Patsy Gavin have put their names ahead for chief.
