Global’s Gord Steinke receives honourary Edmonton Elks jersey as retirement gift – Edmonton

Retiring World Information Anchor, Gord Steinke was honoured tonight on the Edmonton Elks recreation for his decades-long protection of the town and its neighborhood.

Steinke has been a widely known face within the newsroom and on T.V. for over 30 years, co-anchoring and anchoring the night information. An award-winning journalist and best-selling writer, tonight’s honouring is certain to be one other story for the books.

Steinke took to the sector throughout a timeout to obtain a honourary jersey signed by the group throughout Saturday’s recreation towards the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
