Summerside man charged after police seize loaded guns from home

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 43-year-old Summerside man is going through a slew of expenses after police searched a house within the metropolis and seized loaded weapons on Monday, June 5.

Summerside Police Providers stated the person was arrested on Could 27 on expenses of assault inflicting bodily hurt, assault, uttering threats and violating a weapons prohibition.

An investigation following the arrest led officers to go looking the house, the place they seized three loaded weapons, all of which police stated have been unsafely saved, together with different ammunition for the firearms.

The person has since been charged with 14 firearms-related offences, police stated.
