Suspicious house fire in Breadalbane, P.E.I. under investigation

BREADALBANE, P.E.I. — A July 6 home hearth in Breadalbane is beneath investigation after it was deemed suspicious by police and the provincial Hearth Marshal’s Workplace.
East Prince RCMP and the New Glasgow Hearth Division responded to the report of the fireplace on Route 231 round 9 p.m.
No one was in the home on the time, and it was not linked to electrical energy, RCMP mentioned in a launch.
Following an preliminary investigation, police and the P.E.I. Hearth Marshal’s Workplace deemed the fireplace suspicious.
The investigation into the reason for the fireplace is ongoing.
