The Prince of Wales and The Duke of Cambridge, appearing of their capability as Counsellors of State for The Queen, accompanied by The Duchess of Cornwall, travelled to the Palace of Westminster this morning to open the Session of Parliament and have been acquired on the Sovereign’s Entrance by the Marquess of Cholmondeley (Lord Nice Chamberlain) and the Duke of Norfolk (Earl Marshal).

The Queen’s Guard was discovered by 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards, beneath the command of Main Henry Greeves, and a Guard of Honour was mounted on the Palace of Westminster by 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards with The State Color, beneath the command of Main Robert Philp.
