Security guard killed in Qatar Embassy in Paris

PARIS (Reuters) -The killing of a guard on the Qatar Embassy in Paris within the early hours of Monday was a “heinous and unjustified” crime, the embassy stated, as French prosecutors opened an investigation.
The incident didn’t seem to have any hyperlinks to terrorism, a supply near the probe stated.
The incident occurred at round 0630 (0430 GMT), the supply stated, including that the suspect had entered the embassy and had a row with the safety guard, who died after being punched.
“An investigation was opened at this time on the rely of homicide,” the prosecutor’s workplace stated.
The Paris prosecutor’s workplace confirmed the loss of life and stated one individual had been arrested on the web site.
“We await the results of the investigation and ask for the non-public lifetime of the deceased’s household to be revered,” the embassy stated on Twitter.
