Obituary: Betty Blye Enman Brann

LAKELAND, Fla. – Betty Blye Enman Brann, a member of the best technology, handed away peacefully at her residence in Lakeland, Fla. on Might 10, 2022, with household by her aspect.

Betty was born in Concord, Prince Edward Island, Canada on Might 26, 1927, to Charles Gordon Enman and Margret Blye (Mamie) Yeo Enman. She grew up in Portland and graduated from Portland Excessive Faculty.

Betty married Durell “Brandy” Brann in 1947 and collectively raised 5 youngsters in Portland.

Betty and Brandy shared a love of journey and the outside with their household and pals. They gave their youngsters a love of water and fishing at their camp in Poland Springs, and later their grandchildren, on their boat cruising Casco Bay. Their love of searching, snowboarding and snowmobiling led to many completely happy instances with household and pals on Sugarloaf and surrounding mountains from their residence in Coplin Plantation. Aggressive cribbage and pinochle video games had been a household staple. Betty beloved to win.

For a number of years they traveled the nation of their motorhome, lastly deciding that Sebastian, Florida, was the place they wished to be.

Betty joined the Vero Seashore Bridge Membership and volunteered on the Sebastian Library and the Indian River Hospital. She was an avid reader and stored up on present occasions.

Betty and Brandy loved a permanent friendship and companionship in all their endeavors with a close-knit group of pals: the Bowkers, Smiths, Hutchins, Parkers, Perkins, Johnsons, Pias, Gerrys, Selbergs, and lots of others.

Betty spent her closing years at her residence in Lakeland, Fla., with household and new pals, particularly Mary Ann Nye.

Betty and Brandy had been the adored grandparents of 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband, Durell “Brandy”; and her sister, Barbara Enman Plummer.

She is survived by her youngsters and their spouses, Gordon (Janet), Candace (Robert), Jeffrey (Judy), Christopher (Pleasure), and D. Andrew (JoAnn); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A service of Internment will likely be held at Evergreen Cemetery on July 15 at 2 p.m.
