PGA Tour Canada: Fortinet new competition sponsor

TORONTO –
The highest males’s golf tour in Canada is introducing a brand new sponsor and factors format.
PGA Tour Canada, previously often known as the Mackenzie Tour, says Fortinet will now sponsor the circuit’s season-long factors competitors.
The Fortinet Cup will mirror the aggressive construction of the points-based competitions on the PGA Tour, PGA Tour Champions and PGA Tour Latinoamerica.
Fortinet is providing a brand new $100,000 participant bonus pool, with $25,000 to the winner of season-long factors competitors.
The winner will earn membership on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour, with the No. 1-ranked participant on the finish of the season eligible to play in each open Korn Ferry Tour event the next season.
An exemption into the 2023 RBC Canadian Open can be at stake for the Fortinet Cup winner.
Nos. 2-50 within the Fortinet Cup standings will earn Korn Ferry Tour membership.
Fortinet, primarily based in Sunnyvale, Calif., presents broad, built-in and automatic cybersecurity options.
