RCMP shoot, injure 22-year-old man on Shamattawa First Nation
A Shamattawa First Nation man was shot and severely injured by RCMP within the northern Manitoba group Saturday, the federal police service and the group’s chief say.

In an interview late Saturday afternoon, Shamattawa Chief Jordna Hill stated the person was ready to be airlifted to hospital in Winnipeg and described his situation as “50-50.”
