Slemon Park’s Tronosjet Maintenance Inc. receives $1.2 million cash injection for upgrades

SLEMON PARK, P.E.I. — Tronosjet Upkeep Inc., stationed in Slemon Park, P.E.I., is receiving round $1.2 million in federal funding for brand new tools and upgrades.

By way of the Atlantic Canada Alternatives Company’s regional financial development program, $975,000 of the funding can be used to help a 2,400-square-foot growth of the corporate’s manufacturing facility.

It’s going to even be used to put in photo voltaic panels that present as much as 75 per cent of the ability’s electrical energy wants.

In the meantime, $187,000 from the funding can be used to amass new state-of-the-art manufacturing tools equivalent to specialised plane tooling tools.

The remaining $50,000 will go in direction of hiring a high quality assurance and management specialist.

Jeff Campbell, director of the corporate, mentioned ACOA’s help helps Tronos to obtain the specialised tools required to draw new regional plane to the Island for upkeep and restore.

“Our continued funding in superior manufacturing tools, now complemented by a brand new sustainable power supply, permits us to remain on the slicing fringe of Aerospace manufacturing know-how,” mentioned Campbell.
