Sexual assault case against retired P.E.I. priest held over until June

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A former Catholic priest accused of sexual assault is scheduled to look again in courtroom in June.

Maurice Joseph Praught, 70, from Stratford, had his case known as in Summerside Supreme Courtroom on Might 3. His case was deferred resulting from ongoing discussions and to present the defence extra time to evaluate the case recordsdata.

Praught will seem subsequent in courtroom on June 7.

Praught faces three counts of sexual assault and 6 counts of sexual exploitation.
