A choice of work by Temple Metropolis, California-based photographer Stewart Lawrence. Since shopping for a movie digicam on a whim in 2016, images has served as an amazing outlet for Lawrence, who describes his apply as “a splendidly easy pleasure in my life.” Reflecting that sentiment in his work, he focuses his consideration on easy, typically mundane topics that he finds visually attention-grabbing.
“Grabbing a digicam and taking pictures has given me a purpose, and a ardour, to wander round and seek for these enjoyable little particulars which are continually round all of us,” he explains. “It’s allowed me to decelerate and actually get pleasure from my environment as a substitute of simply preserving my head down and getting from A to B as quick as I can.
