Russia says ammunition blast damages flagship of Black Sea fleet – Interfax

(Reuters) -The flagship of Russia’s Black Sea fleet, the Moskva missile cruiser, was badly broken when ammunition on board blew up, Interfax information company quoted the defence ministry as saying on Thursday.
The blast is yet one more navy setback for Russia, which has suffered a collection of blows since invading Ukraine on Feb. 24 in what Moscow calls a “particular navy operation” to “denazify” the nation.
Interfax stated all of the crew had been evacuated. It cited the ministry as blaming the blast on a fireplace and stated the trigger was being investigated.
