QMJHL: Five-goal first period paces Foreurs past Charlottetown Islanders

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — 5 first-period targets sparked the Val-d’Or Foreurs to a 6-3 victory over the Charlottetown Islanders in a Quebec Main Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) sport on Nov. 25.

Nathan Drapeau (2-1), William Provost (2), Alexandre Man and Alexandre Doucet scored for the Foreurs, who’re 13-11-2-0 (won-lost-overtime losses-shootout losses). Zachael Turgeon (3) and Matis Ouellet (2) had multiple-assist efforts earlier than 2,487 followers at Eastlink Centre.
