Police say man, 38, was targeted in fatal Vernon shooting – Okanagan

A 38-year-old man is lifeless after being shot on Friday, say police.

The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP says the incident occurred simply earlier than 6 p.m. alongside the 5300 block of twenty fifth Avenue, with officers responding to a report of photographs fired at a residential constructing.

“Frontline officers responding to the placement discovered a 38-year-old man affected by gunshot wounds,” stated police. “The sufferer succumbed to his accidents and was pronounced deceased on the scene.”

“Preliminary findings of the investigation recommend this to be a focused incident,” stated Vernon RCMP Insp. Blake MacLeod.
