Police investigating separate utility trailer thefts from Charlottetown businesses

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown police are turning to the general public for assist investigating the theft of two car utility trailers in two separate incidents, presumably stolen by the identical suspects.

The primary incident occurred round 2:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 20 after a five-foot by 12-foot 2022 enclosed Lightning trailer was stolen from Centennial Auto Sport at 251 Sherwood Rd.

The following day, simply after 2 a.m., a six-foot by 10-foot True North utility trailer was stolen from Canadian Tire on 20 Babineau Ave.

Police stated the suspect car concerned in each thefts is believed to be a silver or gray Nissan Frontier with a roof rack. Each suspects had been masked on the time.
