CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The costs of gasoline, diesel and furnace oil all elevated within the newest adjustment by the Prince Edward Island Regulatory and Appeals Fee.
Gasoline elevated by 2.0 cents per litre (cpl), bringing the price of common unleaded gasoline at self-serve shops throughout P.E.I. to between 185.8 and 187.0 cpl, together with taxes. Diesel costs went up by 3.5 cpl to vary between 202.9 and 204.0 cpl. The value of furnace oil elevated by 3.5 cpl. with the utmost value now 156.7 cpl.
As well as, propane costs elevated by 2.5 cpl for Irving Power Distribution and Advertising, by 2.5 cpl for Superior Propane and by 2.0 cpl for Island Petroleum. There was no change for Kenmac Power Inc. and Noonan Petroleum. Propane costs now vary from 79.8 cpl to 82.6 cpl.
The costs took impact at 12:01 a.m. on Aug. 11.
