CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The costs of fuel, diesel and furnace oil all dropped in a single day within the newest pricing adjustment from the Prince Edward Island Regulatory and Appeals Fee.
As of 12:01 a.m. on Sept. 29, gasoline dropped by 3.0 cents per litre (cpl), diesel decreased by 2.0 cpl and furnace oil went down by 2.0 cpl.
Together with taxes, pump costs for normal unleaded gasoline at self-serve retailers now vary from 173.5 to 174.7 cpl, and costs for diesel vary from 209.8 to 210.9 cpl. The utmost value for furnace oil is 162.6 cpl.

The fee’s subsequent scheduled pricing adjustment is Oct. 6.
