CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Not displaying up for seven weekends to serve an intermittent sentence has led to extra jail time for a P.E.I. girl.
Jennie Sara Singleton, 38, pleaded responsible to seven fees of being unlawfully at massive and was sentenced on Nov. 15 in provincial court docket in Charlottetown. Singleton appeared in court docket by video from the Provincial Correctional Centre.
June 22 sentencing
Crown legal professional Molly Murphy informed the court docket that on June 22, Singleton was sentenced in Georgetown Provincial Courtroom to a complete of 75 days in jail and 12 months of probation for 2 driving whereas disqualified offences. She was allowed to serve the sentence intermittently. Singleton confirmed up on June 23 to serve the primary weekend sentence however then didn’t report back to the jail on June 30, July 14, July 21, July 28, Aug. 4, Aug. 11 and Aug. 25.
Arrest warrant
