SPRINGFIELD, P.E.I. — Police in P.E.I. arrested a 33-year-old man after seizing 19 weapons and hundreds of rounds of ammunition throughout a house search in Springfield on Wednesday.
Mounties executed the search warrant at a house on Route 2 on Oct. 25, seizing 17 shotguns and rifles, together with two restricted handguns, in addition to the ammo and an ammunition press.
Most of the weapons have been loaded and never saved safely, famous police.
Jason Gordon Justin Peters of Springfield has been charged with two counts of uttering threats, unsafe storage of firearms opposite to rules, unauthorized possession of loaded restricted firearms and unauthorized possession of restricted firearms with available ammunition.
The accused stays in custody till a court docket look at a later date.
