P.E.I. RCMP arrest man for dangerous driving after collision on highway in Richmond

RICHMOND, P.E.I. — Police arrested a 26-year-old man for harmful driving following a collision on Freeway 2 in Richmond on Tuesday, Feb. 8.
RCMP stated officers responded to the scene of the crash round 1 p.m. Police stated the crash occurred when the driving force, who was travelling at excessive velocity, tried to cross a car that was already legally passing one other car.
Nonetheless, the driving force misplaced management of the car and collided with the opposite passing automotive.
The motive force, from Rose Valley, was arrested for harmful driving and obtained a ticket for driving whereas his license was suspended.
He was later launched from custody and is scheduled to look in courtroom at a later date.
Police stated the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
