Average US gasoline price jumps 39 cents to $5.10 per gallon

CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) — The common U.S. value of regular-grade gasoline spiked 39 cents over the previous three weeks to $5.10 per gallon.

Business analyst Trilby Lundberg of the Lundberg Survey mentioned Sunday that the value bounce comes amid greater crude oil prices and tight gasoline provides.

The common value on the pump is $1.97 greater than it was one 12 months in the past.

Nationwide, the best common value for regular-grade gasoline is within the San Francisco Bay Space, at $6.55 per gallon. The bottom common is in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at $4.43 per gallon.

In accordance with the survey, the typical value of diesel rose 20 cents over three weeks, to $5.86 a gallon.
