P.E.I. furnace oil, diesel prices drop Feb. 14, 2023

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — It’s cheaper to warmth with oil immediately, after the Island Regulatory and Appeals Fee (IRAC) introduced a value drop in a single day.

In an unscheduled adjustment, which went into impact at 12:01 a.m. on Feb. 14, IRAC stated the costs of furnace oil and diesel decreased by 15.0 cpl.

There was no change to the worth of fuel.

With the modifications, the utmost value of furnace oil is 149.1 cpl whereas diesel ranges from 207.1 to 208.3 cpl.

The value of fuel ranges from 159.9 to 161.0 cpl.

IRAC’s subsequent scheduled pricing adjustment is Feb. 17.
