Owner of P.E.I. cottage construction company facing fraud charges

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 29-year-old Summerside man is dealing with fraud expenses in connection together with his cottage development firm.
In June 2022, RCMP started investigating the Cottage Firm after police acquired complaints involving three prospects who had paid for cottage development however did not obtain any service.
The purchasers reported paying a complete of over $140,000.
Brandon Lloyd Waite of Summerside Waite was arrested on March 28 in connection and charged with three counts of fraud over $5,000.
Waite was launched on situations and is scheduled to look in Summerside provincial court docket on April 19.
