Over two dozen crew missing as storm Chaba hits Hong Kong

HONG KONG (Reuters) – Greater than two dozen crew on an engineering vessel with 30 folks on board had been lacking after it snapped in two in waters off Hong Kong as tropical storm Chaba handed by way of, authorities stated.

Three crew members had been rescued, and search and rescue operations had been persevering with for others about 300 km (200 miles) southwest of town, the Hong Kong Authorities Flying Service stated.

Among the crew had deserted the vessel and harsh climate circumstances had been hampering rescue efforts, they stated.
