Ontario government to introduce legislation to lower gas tax: source

Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s authorities will introduce laws on Monday to chop gasoline and gas taxes, CBC Information has discovered.

A senior authorities supply with information of the plan advised CBC Information on Sunday that the gasoline tax could be decreased by 5.7 cents per litre and the gas tax by 5.3 cents per litre. The supply spoke to CBC Information on situation of anonymity as a result of they don’t seem to be approved to talk publicly.
