One new COVID-19-related death, hospitalizations up in P.E.I., Tuesday, Oct. 18

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Well being officers in P.E.I. are reporting one new COVID-19-related demise over the previous week, together with a rise in hospitalizations from the virus.

There are 28 individuals in hospital with COVID-19, up from seven reported final week. Eight individuals have been admitted due to the virus, and 20 others have been admitted for different causes and examined COVID-positive on or after admission.
